Echuca
Echuca is located on the Victoria side of the Murray about 2.5 hours north of Melbourne and is often referred to as Echuca Moama in reference to Echuca's twin town Moama which is located on the New South Wales side of the majestic Murray.
Tourism is Echuca’s primary industry and tourists to the area will certainly appreciate the opportunities to get active or simply lay back and watch time pass. Cruise on a paddle steamer or hire a houseboat and take advantage of the Murray River’s tranquil waters or get behind a power boat for some water skiing action. Back on land, enjoy a round of golf or visit the historical Port of Echuca.
Echuca's main strip is Hare street – here you will find shops, cafes and a selection of Echuca restaurants.
